The first hello
Was polite and sweet
Our first conversation
Was stilted and awkward
But soon u were finishing my sentences
And I yours.
Never a day gone by
Without at least a hello, how are u doing?
And soon, an ‘I miss you,’
It was sweet while it lasted
Twin souls colliding in accidental
Universe coincidence,
But who would have thought that
Short good bye and see you again next week,
Turn to months of silence,
I didn’t even say goodbye,
Just told you to have fun and come back soon,
Will be missing you a bunch,
And now
What do I do
With my breaking heart?
Will you ever come back
And stop this aching pain?
